Underfloor Heating XPS Insulation boards

XPS underfloor heating insulation boards are extruded polystyrene designed specifically to provide an insulation barrier underneath electric underfloor heating systems. They can easily be fitted on the surface of commercial or domestic concrete/screeded and stable floors constructed from wood.

Underfloor Heating Express XPS Insulation boards are very lightweight and provide high efficiency as you would expect from thermal highly compressed boards. Our boards measure 1200mm x 600mm (0.72m²) and are available in both 6mm and 10mm thicknesses.

Underfloor Heating Tile Backer Boards

Tile backer boards provide optimal heat insulation for efficient underfloor heating and offer a superb waterproof surface to affix tiles. Our premium engineered boards are XPS (Extruded Polystyrene) boards coated with a specific reinforced cement based flexible mortar, thus ensuring an easy fitting and tiling process. They are perfect for wooden/subfloors that are constructed atop of wood joists. 
Measuring 1200mm x 600mm (0.72m²) they are also available in 6mm and 10mm thicknesses.

Electric Underfloor Heating and Foil Mat Installation 

The electric underfloor heating cable is 2mm thickness which is perfect for installing on existing sub floors with minimal floor height increase. Please remember when fitting aluminium foil mats the flooring thickness must not exceed 18mm as this particular type of mat is not suitable for vinyl and carpet.

The 2mm cable is pre-woven into a 500mm wide foil mesh which makes it perfect for installing on existing floors to avoid an overall floor height increase.

Please note: Both underfloor kits are straightforwards to install, however, we repeatedly strongly recommend that you employ the services of a qualified electrician.
