How Many Insulation Boards Do I Need?

Insulation boards are a Extruded Polystyrene Insulation board which is designed to ensure the heat from your cable/ heat mat rises and you dont lose any of the heat downwards.

Your cable, or heat mat will be laid directly on top of the insulation boards. 

So do you know how many boards you will need for your room?

Use our easy formula to help you?

Each board= 0.72 and DIVIDE by the sqm area of the room.

Example - 10sqm room DIVIDE by 0.72sqm board = 11.11 boards

We recommend rounding boards up to allow for cutting into corners. = 15 boards
